Collection of three short versified treatises on Qurānic sciences. The first text is a versification by al-Qāsim ibn Firruh al-Shāṭibī of al-Muqniʻ fī rasm maṣāḥif al-amṣār, a short text on orthography of the Qurʼān by ʻUthmān ibn Saʻīd al-Dānī (d. 444/1053). This versification, usually known as ʻAqīlat atrāb al-qaṣāʼid fī asná al-maqāṣid, has title "al-Durr al-manẓūm fī ʻilm al-marsūm" in this copy. The second text is a short poem on the readings of the Qurʼān by ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad al-Sakhāwī, mentioned in Mach's catalog under the title "ʻUmdat al-mujīd fī al-naẓm wa-al-tajwīd" and under the title "ʻUmdat al-mufīd fī al-naẓm wa-al-tajwīd" in GAL. The third text is a short versified treatise on verse-count by Ibn Shuʻlah al-Mawṣilī, mentioned briefly by Ḥajjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn. Ed. Fluegel, vol. III, p. 324. The title and the full name of the author appear on fol. 16a and in the ijāzah on fol. 15b. On fol. 23b is a prayer to be said after the morning prayer.
